South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-dept. will keep intensifying mud dredging in PHB channels and river. It is done to prevent inundation especially in heavy rain.

South Jakarta SDA Sub-dept. Head, Holi Susanto said his side will accelerate dredging on three PHB channels which are Pulo Pejaten River PHB (Pasar Minggu), Swadarma PHB Channel (Mampang Prapatan), and Jelawe Segmen PHB Channel (Kebayoran Lama). While for Krukut River dredging is done across Kebayoran Baru area.
"We conduct dredging because PHB channels and river have been filled with mud," he informed.

"So we dredge it to minimize inundation and flood occurrence in South Jakarta. We hope it will be finished soon," he closed.
